Bus Eireann services not operating for Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May

Bus Éireann wishes to advise customers that industrial action is taking place today, Friday, 1st May and tomorrow, Saturday 2nd May.  No Bus Éireann scheduled services will operate on either day.

As a result services operating to and from Ireland West Airport Knock will not operate on these days. These services are as follows:

  • Route 64     Galway/Ireland West Airport Knock/Sligo/Derry
  • Route 438     Ballina - Ireland West Airport Knock
  • Route 440     Ireland West Airport Knock - Castlebar - Westport - Achill Island

Connecting Charlestown Service Timetables:

  • Route 22     Dublin - Airport - Mullingar - Longford - Ballina and return
  • Route 66     Westport – Ballina – Sligo – Enniskillen – Belfast and return

Bus Éireann will provide the most up to date information as it becomes available on www.buseireann.ie and on their social media accounts - Facebook and Twitter @buseireann.

Their social media team will be online until 22:00 tonight, and from 07:00 until 22:00 tomorrow, Saturday 2nd May.

Customer Service Line (01) 836 6111 is open today, Friday 1st May, until 20:00 and from 08:00 to 20:00 tomorrow Saturday 2nd May; and on Sunday 3rd May from 08:30 to 17:30.
