Ireland West Airport Knock is looking forward to an exciting 2011 with the addition of the Flybe brand, Europes largest Regional airline to the airport. Flybe will begin a new three times weekly service to Edinburgh starting April 19th and operating every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with fares from as low as €36 one way!
From world-famous festivals, to chic designer shopping, Edinburgh is bursting with life and full of history. The city’s castle is at its centre often playing host to countless actors, artists, comedians and film stars during its many theatrical and musical revues. Enjoy the festival scene during the summer, but this city is so much more than just a festival venue, Edinburgh also has a wealth of ideas for days out or longer stays with things to see and do like the Union Canal, The Scottish Mining Museum and The Scottish Seabird Centre.
Ireland West Airport Knock now serves over 25 International Destinations with scheduled flights to 9 destinations in the UK (Birmingham and Manchester with bmibaby), London Stansted, Luton, Leeds, Liverpool, East=Midlands and Bristol with Ryanair and London Gatwick with Aer Lingus. Five new routes have been launched in the past couple of months along with the new Flybe service to Edinburgh, new flights to the Canary Islands will start in February with Ryanair flying weekly to Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote (starts April 6th) with fares from as littles as €55 one way*. This week also saw the announcement by Topflight who will operate weekly charter flights to the fabulous Lake Garda in verona Italy during the summer season – making this the only direct access to Italy from any airport along the whole West and North West Coast of Ireland. We also have charter holiday flights to a number of exciting destinations such as Croatia with Concorde Travel, Faro with Panorama and Sunworld and Lanzarote with Sunway. With so much choice available in 2011 it promises to be an exciting year for Ireland West Airport Knock and the people of the West, North West and Midlands regions of Ireland.
