Ireland West Airport Knock has expanded its services to include over 20 international routes and embarked on an expansion programme which will provide the airport with the capacity to handle one million passengers by 2010. Coupled with this growth in airport services and traffic, the airport sees opportunities to create new enterprises arising from international aviation related services and from environmentally sustainable innovation and enterprise development.

To drive this continued growth and development, the organisation wishes to appoint the following key role:

MANAGING DIRECTOR

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to build the business and achieve extraordinary results. This role demands an innovative person who can demonstrate a strong strategic, commercial and operational management track record of achieving profitable growth, combined with a passion to succeed. It also involves working with key stakeholders, regional development authorities and the Government at the highest level, to pursue our positive plans for the future.  Candidates will be preferably educated to degree level or equivalent and a background in enterprise development or aviation would be an advantage, but is not essential. If you are a strong leader who can transform our vision into reality, then we would like to hear from you.
