New route from Ireland West Airport Knock to Bristol

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline today (24th May) announced a new route from Ireland West Knock to Bristol International Airport. The new route will compliment Ryanair’s existing network of routes at Ireland West Knock which include daily services to London Luton and London Stansted Airports in addition to the four-times-a-week services to East Midlands which commenced on February 27th last. It is expected that the expansion of Ryanair at Ireland West Knock will generate an estimated 300,000 passengers at the Airport over the coming year.
 
 
Announcing the new route, Ryanair’s Communications Executive, Lorna Farren said: “Ryanair is delighted to announce our fourth route from Ireland West Knock, which will provide a further boost to tourism in the West and North West of Ireland, delivering over 60,000 passengers in its first year of operation. Ryanair has been in Ireland West Knock since it opened in 1986, and this new route confirms that we are committed to steady growth at the Airport.”

The new route is a four-days-a-week service operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday starting November 7th 2007.
